The Queensland Koala Rescue

Koala Rescue Queensland is a not-for-profit 24-hour rescue service for sick, injured and orphaned koalas throughout Queensland. They rescuing surviving Koalas in these areas as they are without food and water. Their climbing ropes, throw lines, harnesses, haloes, and poles, have all been destroyed. Click here to learn more and to help. 

Wild 2 Free Kangaroo Sanctuary

A collection of two kangaroo Sanctuaries in NSW that were destroyed in the fire. Donations will go toward providing surviving kangaroos with care, rebuilding losses incurred and coordinating volunteers across the fire zones to distribute and monitor food and water stations to help them survive until their natural food sources begin returning. Click here to donate or find out more.

Goongerah Wombat Orphanage

Run by mother Sharon and daughter Emily who have a great love for rescuing wombats recently had to evacuate their area of Goongerah, and Emily remained in the fire-affected areas helping other shelters with their animals until she can return home.
